NEED MORE INFO?
Novastar's Homeschool Enrichment Program is a state-funded, tuition-free option for Colorado families who want more control over how and what their child learns — without sacrificing structure, socialization, or academic rigor.
Students join us on campus for elective classes at least one day per week (Tuesdays or Wednesdays), while parents manage core academics at home — either independently or with the support of the Strong Mind online curriculum (strongmind.com/curriculum).
Whether your child is a kindergartner just starting out or a middle schooler ready for Career & Technical Education (CTE) electives, Novastar's homeschool program grows with your family.

Why Novastar Homeschool?
Tuition-Free Education
Novastar's Homeschool Program is state-funded — there is no tuition. Families pay only small fees for registration, technology, and field trips. Quality education shouldn't come at a premium.
Ability-Based, Not Age-Based
We group students by knowledge level and developmental readiness — not just their birthday. Your child is placed where they'll be challenged and supported appropriately.
You Choose the Curriculum
Families can use the Novastar-supported Strong Mind curriculum - a proven, Colorado standards-aligned online program — or teach their own curriculum that meets Colorado public school education standards. Learn more at strongmind.com/curriculum.
Project-Based Learning
No textbooks. No rote memorization. Novastar uses a hands-on, project-based approach — students build, create, explore, and solve real problems as they master core and elective subjects.
Structured On-Campus Enrichment
Students are required to attend on-campus elective classes at least one day per week — Tuesday or Wednesday — from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Lunch and snacks are included. Families may choose additional campus days based on availability.
